  • Profile Data: Name, flat number, phone number, email address, and family member details.
  • Security & Visitor Data: Visitor logs, vehicle numbers, domestic staff details (attendance/ID), and gate entry/exit timestamps.
  • Financial Data: Maintenance bill history, payment receipts, and bank details.
  • Operational Data: Amenity bookings, helpdesk/grievance tickets, and community forum posts.
  • Device Data: IP address, device ID, and push notification tokens to ensure app functionality.

How We Use Your Data

 

Your data is used strictly for Legitimate Society Purposes:

  • Governance: Sending AGM notices, minutes of meetings, and official society circulars.

  • Safety: Managing visitor access, emergency SOS alerts, and security patrolling.

  • Operations: Billing maintenance dues and managing amenity bookings (e.g., clubhouse, gym).

  • Communication: Facilitating resident-to-committee or resident-to-resident interaction within the app.

Note: We will never use your data for advertising or third-party marketing without your explicit, separate consent.

 

Data Sharing & Disclosure

 

We do not sell your data. We only share information with:

  • Service Providers: The app developer or hosting provider (acting as a “Data Processor”) who manages the technical infrastructure.

  • Legal Requirements: If required by law enforcement or government authorities (e.g., police verification of tenants).

  • Facility Managers: Authorized society staff (security, accountants) on a “need-to-know” basis.

App Permissions & Data Usage

 

Internet Access:
E SocietyHub uses internet connectivity to communicate with our servers for login, data synchronization, and app features.

Biometric Authentication:
If enabled by the user, the app supports biometric login (fingerprint/face) for security and convenience. Biometric data is processed by your device only. We do not store or transmit biometric information.

Notifications:
We may send notifications to users for important society updates and alerts. For this, the app may use a device notification token to deliver messages.

Photos / Files (User-Selected):
If the user chooses to upload or attach an image/document (for example profile photo or documents), the app may access your camera/gallery/files only after your permission. The files are used only for the selected feature and are not accessed without user action.

Local Storage:
The app stores some data locally on your device (such as login/session or app settings) to improve performance and user experience.

Device / Diagnostic Information:
We may collect limited technical information (such as app version, crash logs, and device identifiers required for notifications) to improve app stability and deliver notifications.
